Introduction to dump trucks
Dump trucks refer to vehicles that unload goods by themselves through hydraulic or mechanical lifting. The compartments of dump trucks are divided into two types: backward tipping and side tipping. The piston rod movement is controlled by the operating system. Backward tipping is more common, pushing the piston rod to tip the compartment, and a few are two-way tipping.
Working principle
The structure of the engine, chassis and cab of the dump truck is the same as that of a general truck.
High-pressure oil enters the lifting hydraulic cylinder through the distribution valve and oil pipe, and there is a cab safety protection plate at the front end of the compartment.
The engine drives the hydraulic pump through the transmission and power take-off device. The hydraulic tipping mechanism of the compartment consists of an oil tank, a hydraulic pump, a distribution valve, a lifting hydraulic cylinder, a control valve and an oil pipe.

The high-pressure oil enters the lifting hydraulic cylinder through the distribution valve and oil pipe, pushing the piston rod to tip the compartment. Backward tipping is more common. The piston rod movement is controlled by the operating system to stop the compartment at any desired tilting position. The compartment is reset by its own gravity and hydraulic control.
